Lillet Blanc Aperitif Wine

Lillet is a French aperitif wine with a refreshing smooth and fruity taste. The main grape variety in Lillet Blanc is sémillon, which gives it a full, fleshy structure. Lillet Blanc has a golden color, flowery nose, aromas of candied oranges, honey, pine resin, and exotic fruits with long aromas finishing.


Recipes

Lillet Vive

  • 1 of Lillet Blanc
  • 2 parts of tonic water
  • ice cubes
  • 1 slice of cucumber
  • Pour Lillet Blanc into a tall glass full of ice cubes. Add tonic water and a slice of cucumber. Decorate with one strawberry and a mint leaf.

Vesper Martini
The Vesper Martini is the famous drink ordered by Ian Flemming’s James Bond in both the 1953 book and the 2006 movie Casino Royale.

  • 1/2 part Lillet Blanc
  • 3 parts of gin
  • 1 part of vodka
  • Pour the Lillet Blanc, gin and vodka into the cocktail shaker. Add the ice. Shake vigorously for 8 to 10 seconds. Pour into a cocktail glass using a cocktail strainer. Squeeze the lemon peel to release the flavor and place in the glass.

Lillet Hugo

  • 2 parts of Lillet Blanc
  • 1 part elderflower liqueur
  • 2 parts of sparkling water
  • slice of lime
  • Pour Lillet Blanc and the elderflower liqueur into a highball glass full of ice. Add the sparkling water and a slice of lime. Decorate with a few mint leaves.

Lillet Fizz

  • 1 part Lillet Blanc
  • 2 parts sparkling water
  • 1 slice of lime
  • Pour Lillet Blanc into a highball glass full of ice. Add the sparkling water and a slice of lime. Decorate with a few strawberries and mint leaves.

Lillet Elite

  • 1 part of Lillet Blanc
  • 1 part of white grape juice
  • 2 parts of sparkling wine or Champagne
  • 3-4 white grapes, lemon peel
  • Pour Lillet Blanc and of grape juice into a highball glass full of ice. Add sparkling wine or Champagne. Decorate with the grapes and lemon peel.

Cool as Cucumber

  • 2 parts Lillet Blanc
  • 1 part cucumber vodka
  • 2 thin cucumber rounds
  • Pour Lillet Blanc into a lowball glass with ice. Add the vodka and slices of cucumber and serve.
